Bad Bevensen
Bad Bevensen - a source of well-being
The popular resort offers an ideal environment
for a health holiday as well as for enjoying relaxing
activities and restorative holidays. Bad Bevensen is renowned for its
iodine-saline thermal baths, therapeutic competence and extensive spa on the
banks of the River Ilmenau. You can combine wellness, relaxation, health care and
recuperation in a unique manner in the only mineral health spa on Lueneburg
Heath while actively discovering nature – for instance by bicycle, by foot or
by water.
Bad Bevensen iodine-saline thermal spring
Bad Bevensen’s year-round visitor magnet is
the Iodine-saline thermal spring with its 1,000 m² iodine-saline outdoor
pool (32°C), vitality pool (32°C) and health pool (35°C). Visitors to the 1,000
m² modern Spa & Vitality Centre at the thermal spring can relax in bathing
tubs, sand baths and with any of a number of wellness applications - the choice
ranges from floating in a natural, 24% magnesium-saline solution to Lomi Lomi
massages to a rasul bath with healing clay. The generous sauna area features four
saunas, two sanariums, two steam rooms and a SALINE&SALT World. A saline
relaxation area, a generous sun terrace and the saline experience room with a
panoramic view of the spa park, and the SALT World with a salt sauna, a salt
lounge with small graduation houses, a cosy fireplace corner and a small salt
garden round off the programme for wellness visitors.
More than 60 THERMEplus hosts in Bad Bevensen include the entrance fee to the iodine-saline
thermal spring in the accommodation cost. There are numerous other hotels,
wellness hotels, guest houses and holiday apartments.
